As a proud Queenstown local, Jil has always been inspired by creativity, craftsmanship and enhancing beautiful spaces through thoughtful design. With a passion for gardening, home renovation and restoring treasured pieces, she has an exceptional eye for detail and a natural ability to bring beautiful ideas to life.

A two-time winner of the Wearable Arts People's Choice Award, Jil's creativity extends well beyond Christmas. Whether breathing new life into a piece of furniture or designing bespoke festive displays, she approaches every project with imagination, care and meticulous attention to detail.

Before co-founding Holly + Baubles alongside Kelly, Jil built a career in hospitality, events and guest experience, developing a deep appreciation for creating memorable experiences and understanding how thoughtfully designed spaces influence the way people feel. Today, that experience continues to shape every Holly + Baubles installation, ensuring each festive display is not only visually beautiful but also welcoming, memorable and perfectly suited to the people who will enjoy it.

Together with Kelly, Jil co-founded Holly + Baubles to combine their shared love of Christmas with a vision of creating beautifully curated festive experiences for homes, hotels and businesses throughout the Queenstown Southern Lakes.

When she's not creating festive displays, you'll find Jil at home in Arrowtown spending time with her family, tending to her garden or caring for her horses.

Kelly co-founded Holly + Baubles alongside Jil, bringing her own creative flair, thoughtful eye for styling and passion for creating meaningful experiences.

Inspired by time spent living in the United Kingdom and exploring the enchanting Christmas markets of Europe, Kelly developed a love for timeless festive traditions, beautifully dressed shopfronts and the warmth that thoughtfully styled spaces can bring. Those experiences continue to inspire the elegant, layered approach that defines Holly + Baubles today.

Creativity has always been part of Kelly's life. She loves imagining how a space can be transformed for the season, carefully selecting colours, textures and decorative elements that complement both the property and the people who will enjoy it.

As a mum to two young daughters, Kelly understands that the true magic of Christmas lies in the memories created around beautifully welcoming spaces. She is passionate about ensuring every Holly + Baubles project is not only visually stunning but also delivered with warmth, care and exceptional attention to detail.

When she's not planning festive installations, you'll find Kelly exploring Queenstown with her family and dog—or gently reminding her daughters that Jil's horses are their horses!
